At the edge of the valley of the olive trees, the coast on the bay of Makari shows a wild nature with the Mediterranean scrub that is lapped by crystal clear waters, emerald, turquoise and of deepest blue. The long stretch of coast alternates with the rocky areas where the rocks create small pebbly inlets with long strips of very fine limestone sand. To delimit the bay there are the cliffs of Cofano Mountain and Monaco Mountain with sentinel towers.
